Who'll be collecting your bike
"I started on a two-speed Puch in my dad's field. Now I ride a Triumph Street Triple 675."
I'm Sean Hamilton, and MC Transports is just me. I also run Brewood Removals, where I've moved motorcycles for customers before, and Lockerfella, a locksmith business. Same name, same phone, same person answering it.
More about SeanQuestions about moving a motorbike
How much does it cost to transport a motorbike?
When both the collection and the delivery are within 10 miles of Brewood, a one-way job is £99, and within 20 miles it is £129. Longer runs are priced on total van miles, starting and finishing in Brewood: from £250 up to 100 miles, from £299 for 101 to 200, and from £399 beyond that. Put both postcodes into the price checker and you get your fixed price in seconds.
What counts as local?
Local means both the collection and the delivery are within 10 miles of Brewood, measured as the crow flies. That takes in Cannock, Wolverhampton and most of Stafford. Outside that, the price comes from the mileage bands, and the price checker works it out for you.
Do you add VAT to your prices?
No. I'm not VAT registered, so the price I quote is the price you pay, with no VAT to add on top.
Can you collect a motorbike I've bought privately?
Yes, that's one of the main jobs I do. Agree the sale with the seller, tell me both postcodes and when the bike is ready, and I'll collect it and bring it to you.
What kinds of bikes can you move?
Motorcycles, scooters, classics and quads, subject to size and suitable loading arrangements. If you're not sure about yours, send me the make and model with your postcodes and I'll tell you straight.
Do you cover areas outside the West Midlands?
Yes. I'm based in Brewood and cover Staffordshire and the West Midlands day to day, with nationwide collection and delivery by quote, including London.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. Weekend jobs add a flat £50 to the price, so you know the total before you book.
